According to the Global President of YCW, Aare Oladotun Hassan, this year’s festival will serve as a rallying point for Yoruba unity, culture, and development. The event will have President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the Chief Host and Governor Dapo Abiodun as the Host Governor.
The festival will feature a high-level discussion on “Regionalism, Peace Building, and National Development” led by notable Yoruba monarchs and stakeholders, including:

These dignitaries, alongside other Yoruba traditional rulers, professionals, and stakeholders, will deliberate on strategies to advance peace, unity, and development across the region.
Aare Hassan emphasized that the Omoluabi Festival is not just a cultural event but a strategic platform for promoting Yoruba values and driving sustainable development. He called on corporate organizations and multinationals to support the initiative, noting that the festival also focuses on security, education, health, and infrastructure development for the Yoruba people.
“The Omoluabi Festival is a reflection of our strength, resilience, and dedication to excellence. It is a time for us to unite, celebrate our heritage, and work towards our collective progress,” he said.
The event will officially kick off in Ile-Ife in April with a special prayer session hosted by the Ooni of Ife. Aare Hassan urged Yoruba sons and daughters worldwide to participate actively, reinforcing their cultural identity and commitment to the development of Yorubaland.
