A man, identified as Lekan Akinyemi, has been arrested in Abeokuta for suspected ritualistic practices after being caught with a human head. The incident came to light when Nojeem Balogun, a local resident, discovered that his father’s grave had been tampered with, and the head of the corpse was exhumed. The police, acting on this report, apprehended Akinyemi while he was attempting to further desecrate the grave. The case is now being investigated by the State Criminal Investigation Department (CID) to determine Akinyemi’s motives and whether there were any accomplices involved. This incident has raised security concerns within the local community.
