APC Unveils Strategy for Anambra: A Challenge for Governor Soludo
Abdullahi Ganduje, the national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has announced a strategic plan aimed at seizing control of Anambra State from the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA). Ganduje’s remarks came in the wake of the APC’s recent success in the Edo governorship election, where Senator Monday Okpebholo emerged victorious.
Speaking in Abuja, Ganduje emphasized that the APC intends to replicate the tactics used in Edo to capture Anambra, along with other southeastern states. He expressed his belief that the APC should have a stronger presence in the Southeast and called for unity among party members to achieve their goals.
“We are developing strategies to win in these states, starting with Anambra next year,” Ganduje stated. He described the initiative as part of a broader project aimed at addressing the political marginalization of the Southeast.
Currently, Anambra is governed by Charles Chukwuma Soludo, a prominent member of APGA. As the APC prepares for upcoming elections, Ganduje urged party leaders at all levels to intensify their efforts to realize the party’s objectives.
In related news, a court has dismissed a suit seeking the removal of Ganduje as APC chairman, allowing him to continue in his role despite ongoing legal challenges with the Kano state government
